The deadline draws near to have your green project recognized! The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Committee on the Environment (COTE) Top Ten Green Projects awards program, which showcases excellence in sustainable design principles and reduced energy consumption, is calling for entries by January 24, 2011.
Now in its 15th year, the program recognizes winning projects with an AIA/COTE award certificate and will feature the top project on the AIA Web site, and at the AIA National Convention in New Orleans, May 12-14, 2011. Projects may be located anywhere in the world, but must have been designed by an architect licensed in the United States. Entries submitted may be large or small projects, new construction or renovations, and any project type.
