Sherwin-Williams its launching its third-annual STIR Student Design Contest to recognize excellence in student-generated residential and commercial design.
Students may submit entries to the residential or commercial design category and must use a minimum of three Sherwin-Williams colors. Participants can enter as individuals or new this year as a design team. Entries will be accepted at www.swstudentdesign.com through April 15, 2013.
“We are excited to expand our student design contest to reflect group project work, as collaboration is a key part of the workplace today,” said Jackie Jordan, contest judge and Sherwin-Williams director of color marketing. “We’ve seen great responses in the past couple of years and look forward to seeing this year’s submissions.”
The first-place winners in each category will receive cash prizes of $2,500 and will be featured in Sherwin-Williams STIR Magazine. Second-place winners will receive $1,000 and third-place winners $500. All contest winners will be featured in the Sherwin-Williams STIR eExtra email newsletter and on the Sherwin-Williams Designer and Architect Facebook page.
