Doug Mockett & Company’s annual design competition, which recognizes the most innovative and creative furniture parts, accessories and hardware, is now accepting new entries.
In previous years, the company has selected multiple first-place winners, which awards recipients $1,000, an engraved trophy, and a royalty based on sales. To enter the contest, participants need to send a write-up and, if possible, a drawing or a model to illustrate the concept. Entries are now open for the 2011 competition, which can be sent by registered return receipt or FedEx to: Contest Administrator, Doug Mockett & Company, Inc., P.O. Box 3333, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266, or via email to [email protected]. The deadline to enter is September 6, 2011.
