The Decorative Plumbing and Hardware Association (DPHA) recently recognized outstanding bath product innovations at its Annual Product of the Year awards ceremony held in Chandler, Ariz.
KWC and its Ono Touch Light PRO (pictured above) was honored as the 2013 Innovative Water Delivery Product of the Year. The KWC electronic faucet offers a touch-operated control that can be installed virtually anywhere near the kitchen faucet. Users can set three temperature levels that meet individual needs.
Fairmont Designs’ Toledo 30-in. vanity was recognized as the 2013 Innovative Furniture Product of the Year. Toledo blends a clean-lined profile with machine-age details including decorative rivets on the cabinet and mirror.
The Innovative Accessory Product of the Year went to California Faucets’ StyleDrain Tile. StyleDrain Tile allows any tile or stone to be integrated seamlessly into the shower. The outer tile frame can be finished to blend further into the surrounding tile that makes the drain virtually disappear.
DPHA selected Sun Valley Bronze’s Barn Door Track as the winner in the hardware category. The product is manufactured from solid silicon or white bronze and features stainless roller bearings and Delrin (crystalline plastic) that is incorporated into the bronze wheel for quiet operation.
Finally, Stone Forest’s Metrio Modular (pictured above) was awarded the Fixture of the Year. The design offers a slim counter-mount appearance in a minimalist floating wall-mount sink. With a square exterior and round bowl made from Amber Onyx, the sink can be backlit.
