International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) R&T has listed Premier Copper Products’ kitchen and bathroom sinks to the Uniform Plumbing Code (cUPC) for U.S. and Canadian certification, making them recognized for use in new homes. Additionally, all the company’s bathtubs have been certified UPC (no Canadian standard exists for copper bathtubs).
“The products have always been made with the highest-quality standards in mind, but the approval is the ‘icing on the cake’, and gives peace of mind to installers and home owners,” said Beau Ralphs, Premier’s CEO. “It’s a further confirmation of the quality product that we provide and proof of the attention to detail and the consistency in our product that distinguishes Premier Copper Products from other copper sinks and tubs on the market. IAPMO R&T also certifies that our products are lead free.”
All Premier Copper Products’s sinks and tubs are made from 99.7 percent grade-A recycled copper and hand-hammered by artisans at the company’s factories in Mexico. For installers’ reference, certificates can be accessed online as follows:
