Poggenpohl has announced a new addition to its US executive team.
Poggenpohl U.S. is thrilled to welcome Samuel (Sam) Walker as the director of retail to the North American team. Walker is an experienced retail director with a demonstrated history of working in the luxury retail industry, and more specifically, with architectural brands.
Walker was previously the director of retail sales at Ann Sacks Tile & Stone and the director of retail at FLOR, custom carpet tile manufacturer. In addition to a history with architectural brands, Walker has also worked for luxury jeweler Tiffany & Co., where he was inspired to become an Accredited Jewelry Professional from the Gemological Institute of America.
Walker earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Dallas. He is also accredited as a Senior Certified Professional by the Society for Human Resource Management. Walker will be reporting to Sandie Duncanson, chief financial officer of Poggenpohl, U.S.
