PIRCH Permanently Shuts Down Amid Staggering Debt

Updated 5/13/24: Pirch’s topline debt is $238 million, reports Business of Home, owed to thousands of creditors including financial service providers; vendors including Sub-Zero, Toto and Kohler; and a list of more than 3,000 customers, ranging from design firms to contractors to individual consumers.

On Wednesday March 20, 2024, multi-location kitchen and bath showroom PIRCH announced it was temporarily closing all its showrooms through the weekend. On its website, the company posted email contacts for inquiries for a variety of inquiries, including open orders, returns & exchanges, order cancelations and refunds. On April 2, 2024, KBB reached out to PIRCH leadership for comment and received an automated reply confirming receipt of the email and stated in part, “We have not yet announced a reopening date for showrooms, warehouses, or offices. Once information is available you will be contacted.”
