Clarke, New England’s official Sub-Zero, Wolf and Cove showrooms, once again enhances the experience of comparing, purchasing and learning to use the world-class appliances offered through its network of retail partners with the addition of Chef Vanessa Ali as its first culinary director.
Clarke has employed chefs to demonstrate these extraordinary appliances for several decades, and now, Ali will oversee demonstration kitchens in all three Clarke showrooms. Additionally, she will lead an in-house team of chefs in conjunction with outside catering resources to fulfill Clarke’s robust schedule of product demos, design industry events and personal cooking education that Clarke offers to homeowners as a perk of being a Wolf appliance owner.
“The preparation of exceptional food is at the center of everything that happens at Clarke,” said Sean Clarke, president of Clarke. “We are delighted to welcome Chef Vanessa to our team to make the Clarke experience even more informative.”
Ali brings a depth of culinary knowledge and experience that includes positions as assistant professor of Culinary Arts at Johnson & Wales University; lead culinary instructor and presenter at UMass Taste of the World Chef Culinary Conference; and collaborator and presenter at The Flavor Experience, a national culinary innovation conference; along with more than a decade of culinary education, restaurant concept development and catering management.
“We have been following Vanessa’s career for more than nine years,” said Clarke corporate showroom director Marco Barallon. “She brings a sophisticated level of knowledge that will guide our showroom events and enhance our approach to demonstrating our unique appliance brands.
“Product demonstrations and personal test drives are the only way for homeowners to truly assess what kitchen technology fits their lifestyle. Chef Vanessa will help us offer new and unique opportunities to share culinary knowledge with our customers and the design community.”
