Neolith Atlanta, Neolith’s first direct division in the U.S., has been presenting clients with special care baskets to boost morale during the COVID-19 pandemic and emphasize the brand’s commitment to safety and hygiene.
The baskets contain a range of essential items, including: face masks, gloves, toilet paper, paper towels, hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, tissues and hand soap, as well as a bottle of either wine or Prosecco and an assortment of exclusive Neolith stationery.
As many of these items remain scarce in certain parts of the U.S., Neolith Atlanta is making sure it helps as many people as possible get what they need.
The baskets are being offered during carefully curated “no contact” tours of the warehouse as a way of introducing clients to the facility. These tours will give them the opportunity to discover Neolith’s wide range of surfaces whilst getting some fresh air, all at a safe, social distance. For those unable to leave the house, baskets are being hand-delivered by members of the Neolith team.
Global Responsibility
Further afield, recent months have seen the brand actively involved in keeping all clients, staff and the wider community safe, healthy and happy.
Significantly, Neolith has offered an extraordinary economic gratification to its employees in recognition of their hard work, with the executive team agreeing to a 20 percent reduction of their salaries. Staff have also received organized shipments of luxurious Natra chocolates as an additional sweet surprise.
Beyond this, the brand has recorded a special song in collaboration with Dutch countertop manufacturer, Kemie, titled “Neolith Stay Strong”, about being brave and undaunted in the midst of the outbreak, which has been shared via social media.
In terms of helping the public during this time, Neolith donated €300,000 to three major hospitals in Castellón, Spain, the city in which the brand’s headquarters are located: Hospital General Universitari, Hospital Provincial and Hospital Universitario de La Plana. Part of the donation was allocated for the purchase of protective equipment for the healthcare personnel, the heroes who are on the front line in the fight against the pandemic.
Commenting on the Neolith Atlanta care baskets and the brand’s various initiatives, vice president of sales and operations in North America, James Amendola, said, “At Neolith we are a family, and that family consists not only of our staff but our local community, loyal clients and partners across the world. Our immediate priority is to help care for the wellbeing and safety of those around us, and everyone who chooses and trusts our surfaces.”
Atlanta Branch Manager, Leo Chuahy, added, “By taking the proper precautions at our factories and warehouses, as well as helping customers maintain the highest possible level of hygiene at home and the workplace, we hope to get through this difficult time, coming out stronger, together.”
