Moen Sponsors 2013 House of the Year

Published: September 25, 2013

Moen Incorporated is a sponsor of the Country Living 2013 House of the Year project, which was renovated with the theme of “Home Again.” The project helped homeowner Marian Lizzi return to her beach bungalow in Breezy Point, N.Y., one of the areas hardest hit by Hurricane Sandy.

“Like Moen, the team at Country Living realizes the importance of helping those in need,” said Beth Wallick, director of advertising and brand, Moen. “Marian’s home was flooded with several feet of water after Hurricane Sandy. We’re excited that Moen products were used to create a space that provides a fresh start – and includes the latest functionality and style – for Marian.”

The house is a 1,000-sq.-ft. beach bungalow and features an open concept kitchen, living and dining space. The kitchen includes a Moen Ascent pulldown faucet in the new matte black finish, while the home’s only bath is furnished with a wall-mount faucet from the Weymouth collection. In addition, a matching, 9-in., multi-function Eco-Performance rainshower is installed in the bath, which offers a reduced flow rate of 2.0 gpm and Moen’s Immersion self-pressurizing technology.
