Mingle, the Plymouth, Minn.-based home design showroom featuring 25,000-sq.-ft. of custom cabinetry, furnishings and nearly 120 design vignettes has opened. The showroom encourages guests to experience full-size room vignettes − from watching a movie in a home cinema to taking a test soak under 13 different shower heads in a private aromatherapy steam shower room − allowing visitors to visualize the exact feel for the rooms they want to create at home.
“The showroom is like a state-of-the-art model home,” said Kelly Davert, general manager of Mingle. “We want our guests to sit on the furniture, open cabinets, relax in the home bar and play pool in the game room. This way, they can truly imagine what it would be like to live in these spaces. Our guests often get so comfortable they don’t want to leave!”
