MaxLite Opens Inaugural Product Assembly Facility in U.S.

Published: August 8, 2012

MaxLite has established its first-ever U.S. assembly line and expanded its work force and capabilities, which allows the company to meet the requirements of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. During the last 16 months, MaxLite has created nearly three dozen new positions, including more than 20 located in its West Caldwell, New Jersey headquarters.

“The assembly operation is the beginning of a new era for our company,” said Yon W. Sung, MaxLite president and CEO. “Based on the increased demand and a strong response to our latest LED fixtures and lamps, we are expanding our U.S. operations with a new assembly facility, supported by new capabilities and staff members.”

West Caldwell, New Jersey Mayor Joseph Tempesta Jr. and Councilman Stanley W. Hladik joined the MaxLite family of employees at a ribbon-cutting ceremony that celebrated the grand opening of its new product assembly line on Friday, July 13, 2012.
