Lauren Rottet, FAIA, FIIDA, Hall of Fame architect, designer and president/founding principal of Rottet Studio, was recently honored in her hometown by the AIA (American Institute of Architects) Houston. On behalf of Rottet Studio, she accepted the award for Firm of the Year at a black-tie gala on April 6 at Houston’s Lone Star Flight Museum surrounded by fellow architects, friends and colleagues. Rottet Studio is one of the few woman-owned firms to receive these accolades in what is still a mostly male-dominated profession.
In May, Rottet begins her travels to three upcoming trade shows across the country.
“I am honored to have the opportunity to play major roles in these very important upcoming shows for the design community,” said Rottet. “They’re all about collaboration, innovation and discovery.”
