Laufen Has Good Design

Published: January 24, 2011

Laufen’s Mimo Collection recently received a 2010 Good Design award in the Bath and Accessories product category. The awards are presented annually by the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and the European Centre of Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies, to recognize excellence in product design across a range of categories.

Despite the economic slowdown, a record number of submissions for 2010 were received by The Chicago Athenaeum, which ranged from futuristic motorcycles to state-of-the-art kitchens and appliances to adult well-being products. The awards were judged in New York by an international jury of design professionals, architects, experts, and cultural leaders.

The Mimo collection features modestly-sized sinks, toilets, vanities and a small bathtub, which offer curvaceous shapes in eye-catching hues of pink, white and black. For a full list of winners, click here.
