Larry Sturman, a 20-year senior management kitchen professional, has been named the VP and COO of Kitchen EXPO, a division of Universal Interlock Corp.
Sturman has 25 years of experience in the kitchen business in a variety of areas, from manufacturing to distribution as well as 20 years experience in a senior management position.
“This is an opportunity that I am looking forward to,” said Sturman. “I will be heavily involved in all aspects of the business and my goal is to help expand. I feel the economy is on the upswing and I am looking forward to helping Kitchen EXPO attain a bigger piece of the market.”
Before taking his position at Kitchen EXPO, Sturman was the kitchen division manager for Woodhaven Lumber and Millwork, where he helped sales increase 50 percent in two years, and ran the kitchen division for Builders First Source. “He is an industry pro and I wanted a fresh set of eyes, lending new perspective and energy in a severely contracted industry,” said Brian D.
