K+BB Meets with Editorial Advisory Board at KBIS

Published: February 4, 2014

The staff at K+BB magazine met with our board of industry leaders this morning to discuss content, direction and where the industry is heading.

Our editorial advisory board consists of several dealers and distributors, including Sabrina DaLomba, Supply New England’s Kitchen & Bath Galleries in Falmouth, and Bill Feinberg, president, Allied Kitchen & Bath, Allied Decorative Hardware & Plumbing and Allied Windows & Doors. The designers on our board include talents like Cathy Osborne, Auer Kitchens; Toni Sabatino, Toni Sabatino Style; and Ebony Stephenson of Criner Remodeling. Kristina Crestin of Kristina Crestin Design; Phil Seaton, president of Seaton Inc.; and Meredith Barclay with Home Depot in Atlanta also contributed to our discussion, among others.

When we asked our board what they would like to see more of in the magazine, we learned what designers of all calibers would like to see, including how to grow their business, how to work with different consumers and how to market themselves. It’s more than just inspiration that designers and manufacturers need—it’s practicality and functionality in a changing world.

KBIS is certainly the best way to start researching, and we are looking forward to another day tomorrow!
