IFDA NY Announces Dondrill Glover as President

Published: January 3, 2026

The New York Chapter of the International Furnishings and Design Association (IFDA NY), the 78-year-old global design industry alliance, has announced Dondrill Glover as its new president as of Jan. 1. She succeeds David Santiago, of Casa Santi Interior Design LLC., who has led the organization to new levels of success during the past six years. He will remain as an advisor to the Board and serve on the committees, a vital component of the chapter, as needed.

Glover is a purpose-driven cultural strategist and creative diplomacy architect who has worked with artisans across 50+ countries, advancing women’s initiatives,  handmade cultural heritage, and brand development and marketing. Her work reflects a longstanding commitment to elevating global craftsmanship and bringing brand growth and visibility to the U.S. market.

Glover first engaged with IFDA NY through her role as senior marketing producer for NY NOW, where she curated global handmade programming, led conscious design booth installations and supported buyer relations. She developed a standing relationship with IFDA leadership and in 2023 was invited to join the IFDA NY Board as an honorary member. She quickly established herself as a forward-thinking collaborative force, bringing a seasoned perspective shaped by her international work with artisans and cultural enterprises.

During her first year as vice president of Global Harmony & Social Architecture, Glover launched IFDA NY’s inaugural Social Impact Design Award, recognizing handmade collections rooted in purpose, cultural integrity and brand impact in developing regions.

In 2025, she served as vice president of Trade Markets & Global Cultural Impact, leading a renewed focus on IFDA Selects at NY NOW, expanding award visibility, strengthening the chapter’s relationship with the tradeshow and exploring new trade markets and partnerships to extend IFDA’s reach.

In collaboration with Santiago, Glover also initiated the partnership with LIM College’s graduate program and is co-leading the chapter’s 2026 rebranding initiative, shaping its renewed visual and strategic direction. In addition, she produced social media campaigns for Women’s History Month and Pride Month, celebrating women in interior design and honoring LGBTQ+ designers.

“I look to continue IFDA on its forward path, grounded in innovation, new partnerships and heightening the IFDA NY voice and value as well as supporting the chapter’s commitment to engaging the wide perspectives that define today’s creative industry,” said Glover. “Finally, my deepest thanks to David Santiago, whose mentorship, support and early belief in my contributions made this moment possible. I’m honored to continue learning from him as I step into this new role.”
