ICE Packed with Educational Offerings

Published: September 7, 2011

The International Countertop Expo (ICE) kicks off October 20-22, 2011 in Las Vegas with a roster of educational sessions and demonstrations designed to help fabricators increase profitability.

The conference starts on Thursday with a luncheon and keynote address by architect and author of Green Building & Remodeling for Dummies, Eric Corey Freed. His address, “How the Connection between Designers, Fabricators and Architects is Evolving,” is designed to help attendees learn ways to market their businesses through creative collaboration.

Following the keynote address, attendees can choose from a variety of programs, all of which provide tools, information and techniques that will help them become more profitable. In addition, an exhibit hall offering clinics and hands-on demonstrations will open on October 21.

“We are very excited about the conference program that the Advisory Council put together for ICE this year,” said Hunter Adams, ISFA president and advisory council chair. “The council has worked hard to put together a value-packed program for ICE, with presenters who are leaders in the countertop surfacing industry.”
