When “Fix It & Finish It” needed kitchen cabinets as part of a home makeover for a family whose daughter was fighting cancer, Haas Cabinet was happy to help. Show star Antonio Sabato, Jr. surprised the Mercer family with a new kitchen featuring Heartland maple cabinets in a gray barnwood stain from the Haas Lifestyle Collection.
“Because of the tight filming schedule, we really had to expedite the kitchen through our production process,” said Bryant Haas, VP of Sales at Haas Cabinet who was onsite for the chaotic work involved in the one-day filming of the remodel. “When filming began, we were ready. There were contractors and cameramen everywhere, but at the end of the day it was amazing how it came together.”
The Mercer family was overjoyed when Sabato unveiled the new kitchen for the first time.
“We’re so excited about our new cabinets – the shaker door and gray stain allow us the flexibility in style we need for our kitchen,” said Ashlie Mercer.
