Grohe Lets Hope Flow

Published: August 10, 2011

Grohe’s HopeFlows program is aiming to raise a quarter million dollars—or enough money to fund a breast cancer research project for one year. Grohe partnered with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation to create the HopeFlows program, an initiative dedicated to helping support some of the most advanced and promising breast cancer research across the world.

For every Ladylux3 Plus and Ladylux3 Café (pictured) pullout design kitchen faucets sold at a Grohe kitchen and bath showroom in the United States or Canada, the company will donate $25 to sponsor 30 minutes of hope in the form of breast cancer research. HopeFlows reached more than $56,000 during its introduction last year.

According to the National Cancer Institute, there are approximately 2.5 million women in the United States who either currently have or have had a history of breast cancer, with more than 200,000 cases diagnosed in 2010. Based on current rates, one in eight women born in the United States today will develop breast cancer at some time in their lives.
