On the heels of publishing a desktop version of their LEED Documentation software, Green Badger has released a new LEED Water Use Calculator App.
The calculator allows users to make real-time computations to see what impact different plumbing fixture options will have on their ability to earn LEED points.
The app is designed to eliminate spreadsheets and the LEED Online Calculator so designers can easily play around with different plumbing fixture solutions to meet their project needs.
In design meetings or on the go, app users can figure out what plumbing fixture combinations will maximize the water savings and LEED points for their project. The LEED Water Use Calculator verifies the WEp1 prerequisite compliance, as well as WEc2 and WEc3.
The basic version of the app is available for free. A paid version, which allows customized and more complex calculations for a variety of commercial and residential project types, is available for $3.99. The Green Badger Water Use Calculator App is supported by iOS and is available for download and installation through the Apple App Store. An Android version is planned for future release.
