Get CES Credits From ProLine Drain

Published: April 18, 2011

Quick Drain USA now offers AIA CES learning credits for architects, interior designers and construction professionals that participate in its ProLine drain course. The stainless-steel, low-profile ProLine drain system is used as a replacement for the traditional round-center drain in new showers, wet rooms or tub-to-shower renovation projects.

Quick Drain considers the course a needed step to further increase awareness on the labor-saving installation benefits and design possibilities of the ProLine system. As a replacement to the traditional drain, the ProLine Drain offers time and labor savings since the mortar bed only needs to be pitched in one direction to achieve proper drainage. Additionally, because of the 1/4-in. pre-sloped polypropolene substrate panel, the ProLine Drain can be placed anywhere in a design, including at the threshold for barrier-free, ADA-compliant showers, or wetroom designs. Also, by being used at either the threshold, or hidden under a bench against one wall, the linear channel drain offers architects and designers the ability to specify large-format tile designs with thin-grout joints that are not interrupted by a circular center drain in the middle.
