Fireclay Tile has opened the doors to its new showroom in San Francisco’s design district. The space features all of Fireclay’s handmade, American-crafted artisanal tile designs in addition to a collaborative space shared with two other local manufacturers, Restoration Timber and Wooden Window.
Staffing the showroom are design professionals with over 50 years in the tile and surfacing industry. Wendy Ruffier, the showroom designer, has 10 years previous experience at Waterworks, and Bill Palmer, Fireclay’s new head of sales, has worked for a variety of industry companies including Heath Ceramics, McIntyre, and Elgin Butler.
Fireclay Tile incorporates locally sourced recycled materials into its tile products including recycled waste glass, recycled granite dust, and landfill-bound recycled porcelain from San Francisco and San Jose.
The new showroom can be found at Design Place East, 111 Rhode Island St., Suite F, San Francisco, CA.
