Elkay Manufacturing Celebrates 100 Years

This week in 1920, Elkay was founded in Chicago as a manufacturer of high-quality kitchen sinks. Today, the iconic, family-owned, U.S.-based company is celebrating its 100th anniversary.

Elkay has grown to a leading manufacturer of plumbing and water delivery products, which includes residential sinks, faucets and its award-winning ezH2O Bottle Filling Station. The organization has diversified into other pursuits as well, like its Elkay Interior Systems division that designs spaces for the world’s leading companies.

This week’s anniversary follows Elkay’s biggest year ever at KBIS, where it previewed new products, including its Smartwell beverage delivery system; ezH2O Liv, the first in-home residential bottle filler; and the industry-first ADA Stainless Steel Farmhouse Sink.

As Elkay looks ahead, the company is doubling down on its commitment to innovation and expansion and recently appointed Ric Phillips as CEO. 2020 is positioned to be one of the biggest years ever for Elkay, including:
