The Spanish Ceramic Tile Manufacturers’ Association (ASCER) is launching the 11th edition of the Tile of Spain competition. To participate, projects can be based anywhere in the world, but must use ceramic tiles made in Spain. Entries will be judged by a jury of national and international professionals.
Architect Juan Navarro Baldeweg will chair the jury, which will be formed by the architects Francisco Aires Mateus, Luis Martínez Santa-María, Joseph Grima, Ramón Monfort, the French designer Matali Crasset and the journalist Anatxu Zabalbeascoa
Registration is currently open and the deadline for submitting projects is October, 23, 2012. The awards have a prize fund of 42,000 Euros divided in three categories, which include Architecture, Interior Design, and the Degree Project category, which is for students of architecture.
