Three Drury Design kitchen design projects received 2013 National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) Chicago Design Vision awards: two in the large kitchen category and one in the medium kitchen category.
“It is an honor to be recognized by our peers,” said Jim Drury, vice president of Drury Design (www.drurydesigns.com). “Winning NKBA awards reminds us of how important our clients are to these successes. Without our clients and their vision, none of this would be possible. Hats off to Janice Teague for her two 2013 Design Visions awards in the large kitchen category, a first and third, and to our president, Gail Drury, for her first place win in the medium kitchen category. And, thanks to our talented design staff and team of professionals working behind the scenes to create kitchens, baths and interiors our clients love to call home.”
NKBA Chicago Midwest judges scored contest entries in five key areas, including safety and ergonomics, elements and principals of design, design planning, creativity and presentation. According to NKBA Chicago Midwest, industry experts selected to judge are certified NKBA designers, architects, ASID members, NKBA student chapters and a guest judge from Chicago Home and Garden. Competition is open to designers throughout the Midwest.

The winning projects from Drury Design included a kitchen for a professional chef (pictured top), a kitchen in a classic English Tudor suburban home and a complete renovation of a 1970s-style kitchen (pictured above).
