Kitchen & Bath Business (K+BB) Magazine has extended the deadline for its annual K+BB Design Awards, which recognizes outstanding residential kitchen and bathroom design, as well as kitchen and bath showroom design, to June 30, 2011. This year, the competition will be juried by a panel of design professionals, and winners of the Kitchen of the Year, Bath of the Year and Showroom of the Year distinction will be awarded the Grand Prize—a trip to Spain, sponsored by Silestone by Cosentino.
Submissions will be judged on aesthetic merit, creativity in meeting limitations and client requests, functionality/efficiency and demonstration of fresh thinking. Projects must have been installed/completed between January 2010 and December 2010. There is no limit to the number of entries per entrant.
The Kitchen of the Year, Bath of the Year and Showroom of the Year winners will join executive editor Alice Liao on an all-expense-paid, weeklong adventure to Spain in September. The trip will include a visit to Madrid, tours of the Cosentino facilities and an immersion in Spanish culture. Airfare, accommodations and all meals are included. Offer is non-transferrable; only K+BB winners are eligible to attend.
