Furnipart, the 48-year-old Danish manufacturer of high-end decorative cabinet hardware, is solidifying its presence in the United States. Renowned for its refined Nordic design, craftsmanship and product quality, the brand has officially established operations in the U.S. in partnership with the entrepreneur Nauro Rezende Jr.
Following the company’s U.S. debut at KBIS 2025, the partners have set up a dedicated North American hub – 30 minutes north of Atlanta – focused on fast service, local inventory and personalized support for industrial clients, builders, decorative hardware showrooms and the architecture and design community.
A household name across Europe, Furnipart’s modern and sophisticated knobs and handles have earned international acclaim, most recently the 2024 German Design Award for its Leaf collection. The brand’s products can be found gracing cabinet doors in some of Europe’s most distinguished kitchen brands and interior design projects.
“The product quality and aesthetic excellence were immediately evident the first time I saw their collection,” said Nauro Rezende, head of North America Distribution. “That’s what drew me in. As global supply chains evolved, we saw a clear opportunity to simplify access for U.S. clients. Many were struggling with import procedures, so establishing a domestic distribution network was the natural next step.”
Rezende brings more than 15 years of experience developing decorative product programs across North America, including partnerships with HGTV and DIY Network, as well as a successful tenure as senior director of marketing for Walker Zanger and its parent company.
“We believe there’s tremendous room in the U.S. for beautifully crafted, design-forward Nordic-inspired hardware,” said Mads Helm-Petersen, Furnipart’s director of sales and marketing. “The warm reception from the A&D community at KBIS confirmed that belief. Now, with U.S.-based distribution and support, we’re ready to become a key player in the decorative hardware market.”
With its first office and showroom located just outside Atlanta and plans for a larger warehouse and distribution facility being evaluated, the company is thinking big, and has already confirmed its participation in KBIS 2026 in Orlando (booth S21182) and the Closets Conference & Expo 2026 in West Palm Beach (booth 516), where it will showcase its collections and explore opportunities with potential dealers, industrial clients and partners alike.
