Broan-NuTone recently concluded its ULTRA Pro Challenge, a 60-stop nationwide tour. The eight contractors with the fastest install times among the regional location winners won an all-expenses-paid trip for two to the International Builders’ Show (IBS) in Las Vegas in February 2014, where they will compete for a 2014 Ford F150 grand prize.
The Challenge, which kicked off in Milwaukee on August 6th, offered hands-on experience with ULTRA ventilation fans, and more than 650 contractors throughout the country competed to install the fans in the quickest time, while earning recommended ULTRA Pro contractor status.
“The ULTRA Pro Challenge was a fantastic way to introduce this exciting product to contractors in their own backyards,” said Danny Lipford, host of Today’s Homeowner with Danny Lipford. “Instead of a typical training session, the challenge gave contractors the chance to improve productivity and profitability while having some fun! When I competed in the challenge myself, I was impressed by how quickly the winning contractors installed the fans in a typical retrofit environment.”
The final competition at IBS will take place in two heats of four contestants each, and the winners from each heat will face off in the championship. Lipford will host the competition and present the grand prize to the contractor with the fastest installation time.
