Compete in Daltile’s Second Annual Interior Design Scholarship

Published: September 11, 2012

Daltile has announced the second annual Daltile Interior Design Scholarship, presented by the ASID Foundation. The competition, which will grant $25,000 in scholarships, is open to students studying interior design.

This year’s challenge is to design a bathroom that addresses the needs of multigenerational users and exhibits excellence in design and creativity. Student designs can span commercial or residential interior design and focus on any category of design. Entries will be judged on the space’s functionality, aesthetic sense and creative use of Daltile’s newest product offerings.

The competition will be hosted on Daltile’s Facebook page to allow the public to view the entries and comment on them. Ten merit prizewinners will be determined by popular vote on the Facebook page.

“We are thrilled to once again partner with The ASID Foundation in a joint effort to advance education and excellence in the interior design industry,” said Lori Kirk-Rolley, senior marketing director for Daltile. “This year’s competition raises the bar by asking students to provide a design solution to a common challenge. We’re also raising the profile of the competition by hosting it on our Facebook page, allowing architects, designers and the general public to see the work of these talented students.”
