A new Toilet Challenge app from American Standard makes testing a toilet’s flushing power easier and entertaining. The app allows users to select flushing adversaries which might include golf balls, kid’s clay, cat litter, chicken nuggets, hotdogs and even bananas.
The app, which is compatible with the iPhone, iPod and iPad, is available for download here, and offers a video demonstrating how American Standard toilets fair against a variety of unusual materials. While entertaining, the Toilet Challenge demonstrates the results of the flushing challenges, which were derived from actual product tests, so users who are shopping for a toilet upgrade can simulate tests and be confident that the American Standard toilet they select will perform without the need for a plunger. After a toilet has proven itself in battle, users can also use the app to access product specifications and find local retailers.
