Century Components announced that it has acquired Dutch Valley Woodworking / Sugarcreek, Ohio. The acquisition, along with the upcoming groundbreaking of the company’s new 55,000-sq.-ft. facility, will provide Century with more than 100,000 square feet of production and warehousing by the end of 2022.
Dutch Valley Woodworking was located not far from Century Component’s current facility, and Century is excited to be able to expand production and incorporate more local craftsman from the community.
“Dutch Valley Woodworking has been a valuable part of our community for years and we recognized that acquiring them could help meet our expansion needs,” said Mark Miller, owner and chief operating officer of Century Components.
Century Components is committed to continued growth but servicing a loyal customer base is equally important.
“Welcoming new customers is a top goal but maintaining quality through the process is paramount,” said Jeff Miller, CEO. “Due to our sourcing of local components and raw materials, over the last two years, we have delivered on time and complete 98% of the time. This acquisition will help us maintain that level of customer service.”
Century Components began producing wood kitchen accessories in 2007. Located in Holmes County, Ohio, the world’s largest Amish community, Century Components crafts its bench made products to quality standards instilled by generations of woodworkers. With more than 40 craftsmen and support personnel, its products are installed by thousands of small and large cabinet manufacturers across the United States and in Canada. Century continues to grow by investing in the community and focusing on sourcing American-made materials.
