Published: June 11, 2014

BSH Home Appliances Corporation and Purcell Murray Company have extended their relationship through the signing of a new multi-year agreement. Under the new agreement, Purcell Murray will continue as BSH’s exclusive distributor for Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau products to appliance dealers and the builder community in California and Northern Nevada through December 2017.

“As a dedicated partner to our success, Purcell Murray has demonstrated spectacular growth and solid performance,” said Michael Traub, president and CEO, BSH Home Appliances Corp. “This dedication has been so convincing to BSH that we have offered an early extension of their distributor agreement. The strong, 22 year relationship we have forged with Purcell Murray in the important markets of California and Northern Nevada has been critical to the continued growth of our mass premium and luxury brands.”

As part of the extended contract, Purcell Murray will transition its current showroom in Huntington Beach to the BSH showroom in Irvine, Calif. This transition will provide greater exposure and enhance overall consumer experience. To address the demand in increased sales and the re-emergence of builder business, Purcell Murray has added 95,000-sq.-ft. of warehouse space to its prior 171,000-sq.-ft. in its north and south locations.

“We are excited about the opportunity to further our growth alongside BSH and we look forward to continuing the tremendous relationship our two companies have built,” said Matt Murray, managing director of Purcell Murray, and Kels Purcell, director of sales. “Signing the three-year renewal of our distributor agreement with BSH through December 2017 further solidifies our partnership.”
