Brizo Debuts Fashion-Forward Collaboration

Published: December 12, 2011

Brizo and fashion designer Jason Wu have collaborated on a new collection of fittings and accessories for the bath to be launched in Spring 2012. Brizo and Wu first partnered in 2006, with the idea of bridging the gap between home and fashion design.

“Brizo and Jason Wu are both luxury brands that share the same design vision: timeless style that is innovative and fresh,” said Anita Griffin, Canadian brand manager for Brizo. “Collaborating with Jason on a bathroom faucet collection further strengthens our position that fashion is about more than just the clothes you wear; it’s a lifestyle.”

The collection combines sleek Scandinavian design and Baroque detailing, along with a distinctive matte black finish. “Designing interior fixtures is an opportunity to challenge myself and branch out into a new category,” said Wu. “The materials and design considerations are dramatically different from what I am used to with clothing and accessories. This collaboration will require finding a new way to add movement and personality to an otherwise static item.”
