Published: March 18, 2021

Bradshaw Home, a designer and marketer of kitchenware and cleaning products for the housewares industry, has acquired Architec Housewares, a fast-growing creator of innovative product lines that solve everyday kitchen dilemmas with simple and intuitive solutions that are also eco-friendly.

“Coming together with Architec Housewares adds another dimension to our portfolio,” said Rob Michelson, president of Bradshaw Home. “We now have the opportunity to use our extensive resources to partner with the original ideas that have been the hallmark of this company. We see the possibilities as being endless.”

Starting with a simple idea for cutting boards that have a non-slip surface across its entire bottom, Architec today markets five brands across its catalog—

  • Architec – the flagship line of innovative, colorful food prep products
  • Ecosmart – housewares made from unique, eco-friendly materials
  • Homegrown Gourmet – to prepare better tasting farm to table food
  • Madeira – premium giftable housewares for the love of cooking
  • TSP – Totally Sweet Products for the baking and decorating enthusiast

Architec President Jenna Sellers Miller, who founded the company with her mother, will also be coming to Bradshaw Home and joins the Product Development & Brand Marketing department headed by Senior Vice-President Tom Barber.

“We’re excited to welcome Jenna to our team,” said Barber. “Jenna brings an amazing amount of experience that we can rely on to help us navigate new categories in kitchenware.”

Sellers Miller is a past member of the IHA Board of Directors and had a three-year term between 2011 to 2014. She helped start the Architec family business in 1999 and eventually oversaw its Housewares division when it was formed in 2000.

“We’ve always had our eye on the future including creating many industry firsts and never-seen-before materials, concepts and unique functions,” she said. “Under the Bradshaw umbrella of brands, our future is brighter than ever and I’m pinching myself that I will be joining the Bradshaw team which means I’ll get to take part in their future success.”
