Bertazzoni, the six-generation, family-owned Italian manufacturer of award-winning appliances for almost 140 years, has announced the launch of a new Beijing-based commercial branch for the Chinese market.

The expansion places the well-known brand, which is now present in more than 60 countries worldwide in a context of strong growth and strategic development. For 2021, Bertazzoni projects a growth in turnover of more than 30% on the previous year.

“We are delighted to be launching Bertazzoni (Beijing) Kitchen Appliances in China,” said Paolo Bertazzoni, fifth-generation CEO of the company. “The Chinese market is particularly interested in premium brand proposals and in the quality of ‘Made in Italy,’ making it a natural location for us to expand to and one where the Bertazzoni kitchen suite has real potential.”

Driven by excellence, innovation, quality and attention to detail, Bertazzoni achieves more than 90% of its revenue abroad. The direct entry into the Chinese market is part of the strategic and commercial development strategy in place for the company, a historical Italian leader in the production of kitchen appliances, known for its style and performance features.

“Over the last three years, we have invested heavily in our production plants and in the three years ahead, 2021 – 2023, we plan to invest a further 15 million euros in not only the development of strategic international markets, such as China, but also in product innovation, digitization and the recruitment of new specialized figures,” said Bertazzoni. “All this being done with the aim of continuing our revenue growth and in preparation for our 140th anniversary in 2022.”
