The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) has opened nominations for its annual Design Awards. The awards honor those who have made significant contributions toward the advancement of the interior design profession, while exemplifying a commitment to enhancing quality of life.
The categories open for nomination include the ASID Designer of Distinction for an ASID professional member who exemplifies a commitment to the profession; the ASID Nancy Vincent McClelland Award, recognizing an individual, organization or manufacturer that has supported the profession in an outstanding way; the ASID Design for Humanity Award, bestowed upon an individual or institution that has contributed to improving the environment for humanity; and the ASID Innovation Award, to recognize an individual, organization or manufacturer that has contributed a significant and innovative product, project or body of work relating to interior design.
