Almo Corporation, an independent distributor of appliances, professional AV, electronics, furniture and housewares, has announced the formation of a new leadership team to guide the future of its Appliance Distribution business.
Almo’s newly named executives comprise a dynamic group of experienced leaders and longstanding Almo talent to drive the business through the evolving and competitive appliance market landscape. This group was appointed to further strengthen relationships with manufacturing partners and deliver unmatched service and support to independent retailers and consumers across the U.S. market.

Christopher Gorra, Vice President & General Manager, Almo Premium Appliances
Previously serving as regional vice president, Premium Appliances, Gorra was accountable for sales strategy, P&L oversight, customer relationship management and talent development for a multimillion-dollar sales region. Throughout his career at Almo, he has held key positions in sales, business development and account management. Gorra has dual bachelor’s degrees in economics and political science/government from Millersville University of Pennsylvania.
Michael Halperin, Vice President & General Manager, Almo Dealer Channel
Halperin brings more than a decade of proven success in appliance sales. In his most recent role as regional vice president, Dealer Channel, he strategically managed a multimillion-dollar sales region, while leading both outside and inside sales teams. His strengths include forecasting, program development, product training, campaign planning and competitive analysis. Halperin has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from The College of New Jersey and an MBA in Strategic Management from Temple University’s Fox School of Business.
Christopher Mento, Vice President, Almo Appliance Product Management
Mento brings 27 years of experience in the retail appliance industry with deep expertise in inventory management, operations, advertising and strategic planning. He excels at connecting suppliers, dealers, logistics and sales teams to create competitive product offerings and drive profitable growth. Mento’s past roles include leadership positions at GE Appliances and Appliance Dealers Cooperative. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Temple University’s Fox School of Business.
Keith Mecutchen, Vice President, Almo Appliance National Sales & Service
Mecutchen is a 25-year veteran of Almo who has helped shape the company’s Inside Sales, Customer Care and digital support functions. Known as a dedicated people leader, Keith takes pride in mentoring employees, developing talent and creating opportunities for others to grow. He is a trusted resource across the organization, offering guidance drawn from his deep understanding of multiple areas of the business. By sharing knowledge and encouraging collaboration, Mecutchen helps drive alignment, improve processes and support long-term success for both individuals and teams.
