Glass Design has introduced the Avenue line as part of Milanobath, its new collection conceived to offer furniture in iconic material and style combinations. Milanobath is a vision of elegance and practically, of contemporary design and versatility. The collection is a tribute to Milan, undisputed design capital and the beating heart of creativity, research and innovation, whose soul merged with the great Tuscan tradition of art and artisanal craftsmanship is evident across every aspect of the range.
Avenue, the novelty of this year, is characterized by clean-lined geometry, evoking a metropolitan look and feel. Wood and cement are brought together in a minimalist yet practical way to define the complete bathroom look. Neutral tones inspired by nature promote harmony right down to the finest of detail while the architectural design and material choices infuse the space with an urban air.
Perfectly suited to accompany washbasins from the exclusive Privileged Paths of Water collection, which can be fashioned from fine materials such as glass, crystal or marble or new generation creations like Vetrofreddo or Siliconio, Milanobath items have been created to provide a captivating ‘total look’ environment further strengthened by complementary items, such as mirrors, lamps and bathroom accessories.
Avenue offers three different types of furniture:
The wall cabinet is available in two wood finishes — white and gray stone and three sizes (60, 80 and 110 cm). All sizes offer the opportunity to choose between a closed option with drawer and support legs and an open option with integrated towel holder in anthracite color. The drawer of the closed version is equipped with an interior vanity mat in gray velvet. The 60cm model is supplied with a 40-by-40 mm knob in a variety of finishes — white or smoke mother-of-pearl insert with chrome or gold metal detail or black leather insert with chrome or gold. The 80 and 110 cm cabinets are supplied with a metal handle in anthracite, mat gold, copper, platinum, gold or silver leaf or pastel colors.
Themis, a furnishing concept characterized by a wall-hung wooden top, is available in white or gray stone finish and comes equipped with a metal towel holder in anthracite color. It is complemented by a 60 cm drawer unit (positioned to the left or right) complete with an interior vanity mat in gray velvet and knob supplied in a variety of finishes — white or smoke mother-of-pearl insert with chrome or gold metal detail or black leather insert with chrome or gold.
Halley (pictured) is an elemental and purist line in oak wood finish, characterized by two wall-hung tops and a metal towel holder in anthracite color. It can accommodate one or two washbasins and is available also in a single-top version.
