Kitchen Cabinet Distributors Announces Reno Distribution Facility

Published: February 22, 2022

In April 2022, Kitchen Cabinet Distributors (KCD) will launch a new distribution facility in Reno, Nevada, offering residents a new resource critical to the construction industry and relieving supply chain constraints with quick delivery and availability of professional-quality cabinetry.

Brandon Dybalski has been named operations manager of the 200,000-sq.-ft. facility, and Michele Rider will serve the trades industry as the customer care supervisor.

The Reno-Sparks population is projected to increase by more than 100,000 residents during the next 10 years, according to the Northern Nevada Economic Planning Indicators Committee. The building industry is seeing an increase in home renovations as much of the population has adopted the remote-working model, requiring updated, storage-efficient, residential working spaces. The growth trajectory is putting pressure on the local construction industry, requiring companies, such as Kitchen Cabinet Distributors to invest in the community with continuity of building supplies and services.

To meet supply chain issues, Kitchen Cabinet Distributors strategically stocks products in its current 600,000-sq.-ft. distribution centers, and the company is guided by its principle of providing exceptional customer service.

Established in 2007 and led by CEO Randy Goldstein, Kitchen Cabinet Distributors has established an industry footing and experienced significant growth attributed to their commitment and success in delivering Ready to Assemble (RTA) cabinetry in one week. With options for TRA product of fully assembled product, KCD eliminates the stress of stalled product deliveries that impact construction schedules.

Since 2019, KCD has opened distribution facilities in Raleigh, North Carolina, and Houston, with the Reno location providing cabinetry to yet another region of builders, contractors, home improvement dealers, and cabinet shops.

“Fifteen years ago, RTA cabinets had a very different reputation,” said Megan Mazur, KCD vice president of sales & marketing. “One of being unreliable with long lead times and subpar quality. KCD took a different approach using high quality materials like birch wood and quality craftsmanship, including interlocking joints, dovetail construction and premium finishing from Sherwin-Williams. Our products are targeted for the pros, providing a product that is easy to install and will last a lifetime.”

Many companies offer RTA cabinetry, and Kitchen Cabinet Distributors maintains a leading position among the competition due to its mission of being an extension of its customers’ business, offering them support and tools the grow their business.
