Gaggenau Announced as Appliance Partner of Michelin Guide

Published: August 4, 2021

Gaggenau announced it has been named the Official Home Kitchen Appliance Partner of the Michelin Guide—an honor that reinforces its professional kitchen principle. This partnership also continues to build on the brand’s commitment to celebrate talented artisans, producers and makers who strive to create excellence in their field, especially chefs. The manufacturer of high-quality home appliances will collaborate with chefs from Michelin-starred restaurants for exclusive initiatives and events that will contribute to the common mission of achieving and celebrating culinary excellence.

“Partnering with such an iconic culinary brand—the Michelin Guide— is the perfect symbiosis between the recognition of importance of gastronomy connected with our Professional Kitchen Principle,” said Skyler L. Stevenson, senior marketing and product manager for Gaggenau. “For a professional chef, there is an increased level of expectation that comes with being awarded a Michelin star and the best chefs desire equipment to perform the same or better as they have in their restaurant, which is at the core of what we enable for the home chef.”

Together with the Michelin Guide, Gaggenau is pleased to recognize the newest “starred chefs” with a specially produced Gaggenau black chef jacket. Just as the Michelin Guide recognizes the best restaurants with an advancement in the star rating system, Gaggenau recognizes these same chefs and celebrates their craft.

Additionally, Gaggenau has created a series of events especially for its Club 1683 clients called “A Taste for Design.” These events are built around design leaders’ engagement in rare opportunities focused on the intersection of haute cuisine, architecture and design. Each event will pair a chef from a Michelin Star restaurant with a Gaggenau project to explore the intersection between culinary culture and design.

“As a global reference in cuisine for more than 120 years, Michelin is delighted to collaborate with Gaggenau,” said Nora Vass, director of food and travel experiences for Michelin North America. “We look forward to this opportunity to extend the Michelin Guide’s footprint across the United States.”
