Lodes, the long-established Italian decorative lighting company formerly known as Studio Italia Design, announces the unveiling of the Random Solo suspension lamp by design collaborator Chia-Ying Lee.
Random Solo progresses the design of the existing Random range by isolating the original three-piece cluster and adding two new spherical, blown-glass lamps. The individual lights come in diameters of 4.72, 5.5, 7, 9 and 11 inches, as well as five different finishes. Each glass diffuser integrates an LED light source which diffuses a warm white light (2700k).
Resembling the form of floating bubbles, Random Solo creates enchanting compositions, whether in one color or combining its different finish options – clear, chrome, gold, rose gold, glossy smoke and frosted white. The new frosted white finish changes the perception of the sphere’s volume, creating a vibrating visual effect to the human eye. Random Solo is easy to maintain and clean as the glass concealing the light source is hermetically sealed, thus preventing the collection of dust.
