Leading Italian appliance manufacturer Bertazzoni has officially reopened its Guastalla-based factory and resumed production. As Bertazzoni is based in one of the regions most strongly impacted by COVID-19 in Italy, production was halted for weeks to maintain safe working conditions for all employees. Please see a video from the company sharing the news here: Bertazzoni Across Three Centuries.
Although the current challenges presented by the coronavirus pandemic are unprecedented, it is far from the first that Bertazzoni has overcome as a family and company. The multi-generational Bertazzoni brand, which has weathered the storms of world wars, the Great Depression and more, has channeled strength and tenacity to prevail over every hardship and looks forward to a new chapter with the continued mission of making people’s lives better at the forefront.
“This is not our first stop. Nearly 140 years of our history have passed along several difficult times. Our strong values have always supported us,” said Paolo Bertazzoni, CEO and fifth generation member of the Bertazzoni family. “We keep our passion at work to bring the wonder that surrounds us to the people in your homes. We are here.”
