THOR Kitchen has announced a partnership with celebrity chef and MasterChef Season 6 runner-up Derrick Fox. As a brand advocate, Fox will highlight THOR Kitchen products through social media campaigns, custom recipes and on-site events while sharing his own journey from aspiring home chef to accomplished professional.
“THOR has a vibe that is different than most appliance companies and gives home chefs tools with the quality you would find in a professional kitchen,” said Fox. “I cook a lot, and it’s nice that my THOR Kitchen suite can handle it. Their stuff is even stronger than it looks, and I can’t wait to share everything I’ve been creating.”
Chef Derrick Fox will also be at THOR’s booth #SL3811 at KBIS 2020 (Kitchen and Bath Industry Show) in Las Vegas this month to conduct cooking demos at the annual tradeshow.

Born in Fort Meyers, Florida, Fox toured the United States as a professional drummer while also nurturing his natural talent and love for food. Fox watched his culinary idols on television and used Internet research to hone and perfect cooking techniques from blending flavors to plating. In 2015, Fox was runner-up on season 6 of MasterChef, sending him on the path to a culinary career.
Fox has traveled across North America judging cooking competitions and cooking for high-profile events and celebrities. His pop-up dinners offer guests the opportunity to enjoy delicious and visually impressive dishes inspired by childhood memories, his MasterChef experiences and his travels. Charity work is also a main focus for Fox; during the last two years, he has helped raise more than $150,000 for several nonprofit organizations throughout the country.
