Cosentino has announced the Canadian launch of its newest color, Portum, from the Dekton line, the ultra-compact architectural surface with advanced technical properties for both interior and exterior applications. Portum draws inspiration from Portobello natural stone and features an appealing soft-to-the-touch matte Velvet Finish. Part of Dekton’s Natural Collection, the new color addition captures the essence of natural stone with realistic gray sculptural patterned veining set upon an ashen white backdrop. The color can be used for interior and exterior applications for countertops, flooring, wall facades, shower inlays, stairs, fireplace surrounds and more.
Created from a blend of raw materials including glass, quartz and porcelain, Dekton has a high resistance to UV rays, stains, scratches and thermal shock. It is available in large format slabs and a variety of thicknesses.
