Add a touch of rustic New England charm to any design scheme with Maine Heritage Timber’s products. The company can create custom countertops, butcher blocks, flooring and wainscoting, in addition to an array of furniture options. All of the company’s products come from 400-year-old virgin-growth trees that were felled a century ago and floated down the Penobscot River in Maine as part of the logging gold rush of that time. Maine Heritage Timber has reclaimed and restored these logs, which were preserved by the frigid waters of the North Country rivers and lakes. The company’s countertops are made from wood from their 1899 collection, which includes oak, birch and maple species.
