Plain & Fancy Custom Cabinetry has developed the Naturals collection: four glaze finishes that are designed to achieve a nuanced effect. The opaque glazes are applied by hand to the cabinetry and sanded to impart a soft, polished appearance. The first pair of glazes in the collection – Foxtail and Cottage – draw inspiration from the animal kingdom and country life, respectively. Intended to cover a white base coat, Foxtail (pictured right) is a pale smoke gray, while Cottage is taupe. The Shoreline (pictured left) and Heritage stain-and-glaze combinations were specifically developed for use on walnut. Shoreline is a light, silvery gray, and Heritage’s reddish hue has a more traditional look.
