Kenmore

Kenmore’s 36 in. Elite induction cooktop features Electronic Surface Element Controls.

Kenmore’s 36 in. Elite induction cooktop (Model# 4392) features Electronic Surface Element Controls (ESEC), which allows each element to go from the lowest of simmer settings to the highest of power settings with digital precision. To ensure the cooktop is turned off when not in use, a pan detection feature only engages the element when a metal pan is present on the burner, and the entire cooktop will shut off automatically after 12 hours of being left on. For flexible cooking, the left side can function as two independent elements or as a bridge with a griddle. Additionally, the Power Boost function can bring liquids from a low simmer to a rolling boil twice as fast as gas or electric cooktops.
