Reflecting the importance of growth in North, South and Central America, Dornbracht Americas
has ramped up its executive leadership. Ingolf Matthée (pictured) has been named CEO, while Jon Spector, a veteran of Dornbracht since 1985, remains president and adds chairman of a newly formed strategic board to his responsibilities.
“These are challenging times, and they require innovative thinking at every level, including how we build our own management infrastructure,” said Andreas Dornbracht, managing director. “We are privileged to have these two exceptional leaders at the helm as we move forward and increase our presence on this side of the globe.”
Matthée joins Dornbracht with more than 13 years of experience in the building materials industry. He has held positions in management consulting, strategy and business development with several German companies, including inno AG and Dyckerhoff Ausbauprodukte GmbH. Matthée received business and engineering degrees from the University of Karlsruhe (Germany) and earned a MBA in Business Administration from Oregon State University.
Spector came to Dornbracht as an independent sales representative and was on the selling frontlines for the company until 1996, when he was tapped to officially lead its U.S. operations. In his added role as chairman of the strategic board, Spector will work on development of long-term business strategies and market plans in North, Central and South America, and serve as the chief spokesperson and brand ambassador.
