Japan’s INAX Debuts in the U.S.

Published: November 18, 2010

INAX, a Japanese manufacturer of tile and sanitary fixtures, will launch in the United States beginning in December 2010. INAX will offer a variety of products, including high-efficiency dual-flush toilets, bidet seats, sinks, pedestals paired with one-piece toilets and the new Regio integrated toilet.

“We are aggressively going after the rebounding remodeling business,” said Paul Burghardt, INAX’s senior regional sales manager. He cites the company’s Vortex Flush toilet technology, called Vortex 100, as a key element that differentiates INAX from its competitors. Vortex uses all the tank water from the top down to clean the bowl. Vortex toilets also feature an anti-bacterial treatment, which is baked into the enamel to reduce cleaning time. The efficient toilets are WaterSense certified.
